The other day when I asked a pupil what types of road the national speed limit for cars is 70 MPH on, I got a rather surprising answer.
" Motorways and George carriageways", he replied.
"Motorways and who?" I asked.
"George carriageways", he reiterated.
It transpires that he actually cannot say the word 'Dual'.
Yes, seriously!
It takes all sorts I suppose!
