We were at a traffic light controlled cross roads waiting to turn right. The traffic from the right could go straight on but also had a separate left control filter lane. I think you can guess what is coming?
As we sat patently waiting for our green light to proceed a vehicle approached from the right hand side, saw the green light for the left filter but continued across the cross roads rather than turning left!
The guy crossing from opposite side to us narrowly avoided a very dented car and probably a change of underwear. We saw it all happening which was very scary. Always doucble check the green light and look around. Never assume that it is safe to go!"
